Hi.   My name is
Sharon Power

Prior to my career as a talent agent / manager, I worked in banking and was one of the first and youngest female bank managers in New Zealand.

Finally I decided banking was not for me and I went back to my hobby, modelling, to see if I could make a living at it.

Truth is, I wasn’t great at it and a living was not going to be made but I was great at teaching.

So, another squiggly road in my career path led to training which led to working in an agency as a Booker, which in turn led to setting up my own agency first in New Zealand, then Australia followed by the U.S and UK.

I am an entrepreneur, motivator, (new) blogger, dedicated learner and determined teacher.

I love animals, travel, good food and wine.

My motto is "Imperfect action is better than no action at all."

Some other things you might want to know about me;

I love my job

I love the people I have the honor of working with. I love the entertainment industry in all it's weird and wonderful ways.

Trust is vital

You must trust me to believe in you and do my best and I must trust you to believe in yourself and in me and do your best.

I am a perfectionist

but I do my best to control it. "Imperfect action is better than no action"

Yes, I sell stuff

specifically the course and services in The Village.

I am a Kiwi

Born and raised in New Zealand, I still call it home. My job requires me to travel but NZ always calls me back.

Communication is also vital

If I don't know what you want to achieve then I can't help you. You must communicate with me if you want the right advice.

I won't work with

or acknowledge haters, trolls or intolerant people.....no exceptions

I am plain spoken

What you need to hear is what you will hear. It may not be what you want to hear.

You will hear from me what you need to hear.

It may not be what you want to hear.

Enough about me. Let's talk about you.

For performers the rejection, the sheer size of the competition and the fast paced, seemingly harsh industry is enough to drive the most hardy to quit.

The truth is the competition isn't that fierce if you are presenting yourself correctly.  You can, by re-imaging and tightening your brand, eliminate a good percentage of your competition.  Sure you need to have talent and you need to be in the right acting training consistently but all of that is no use to you if you don't know how to showcase what you can do - you just get lost in the mass.

The industry isn't that harsh if we perceive you to be a professional.  There are millions of aspiring talent coming at us from every direction.  Most from drama schools and acting programs.  We learn very quickly which ones take their career seriously.  Those who are prepared to invest time, effort and yes money (but not a fortune) in gaining the required knowledge and skills, who are prepared to attend the right ongoing coaching and promote themselves in the right marketplace.  If you earn it, you will be treated with respect.

We are here to make your path to success simpler.
